We appreciate your support. Implementing trails into the park system is important to us. We frequently have families ask us where they can take their children to show them different aspects of nature. The trail system will serve for learning, family enjoyment, and exercise.

     Registration/check-in will begin at 7:30 am.  The chip timed 1 mile race will begin at 9am, with the chip timed 5k following at 9:15.  Stick around after the race for post-race snacks, fellowship, and fun.  Immediately after the awards ceremony, there will be a concert by WildHeart.  WildHeart's music encourages children to get involved in nature, and is a treat for the whole family!      If you are interested in becoming a co-sponsor or volunteering for this race, please email us at crappieday5k@hotmail.com.  Sponsors will have their name on the back of the race shirt as well as on our website, and both sponsors and volunteers will be heavily recognized on race day to all participants. We will be happy to work with whatever you are willing to give.

Thank you to all of those who have been involved in our previous races.  Your time is appreciated. Thanks to you, we were able to begin a trail system within the park. We had approximately 100 runners for the 2011 race and we know that number can grow substantially with your help!
